Oh no the big 3 0...

That's right, yesterday I turned 30 years old... even as I type it; I don't believe it... It seemed when I was younger that 30 was really the end of the line... now that I am here I feel the same as I did 10 years ago... Maybe my Mom is right, it is just a number....

The festivities started on Tuesday with my small group - Michael, Pat and Diane made me a delicious FROM SCRATCH cake - the delightful inscription was "Roaring 20s over, 30's Great Depression" they are so clever...

Dang that's a lot of candles -
Dang that's a lot of smoke!
While I really appreciated ABBA's greatest hits from Diane, Riley's prune juice left me with a bad taste in my mouth...
I got to work on my birthday to find my office trashed! Totally trashed!
Because it was also Administrative Assistants day; Myriam got to choose where we went for lunch - an awesome Cuban place in Orange. I had the Paella (amazing)
For desert we had tres leches cake...

After work a bunch of us went for drinks, then I went home for more drinks and a special cake Amanda made me - It was a full day - I love my family and friends so much - my day was flooded with calls from well wishers and EATING...
The festivities continue this weekend with bar hopping, Disneyland and dinner at my sisters.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYAN!!!!!! Just remember that you and I are not even in the same decade even after you turned 30!! Holy moly!I always tell people that you're not old until you're 98. Then you're old.

Sounds like you had (and continue to have) an awesome celebration!! God's blessings on you, my friend!!
