It took us about an hour to get into Tokyo Station; what a place! Packed with thousands of people going in all different directions at once – no one running into each other…
We boarded train #2 the shinkansen (bullet train) which traveled about 70 mph in the city and pretty close to 100mph in the country – it was SO FAST…We arrived safely in The mountain town of Karuizawa where we will work with the kids for the next week… I am so excited to relax and hang with them we have been rushing everywhere since we got here…
It was about 30 degrees up in the mountains and lightly snowing... Amazing that you hop off the train in the middle of a beautiful mountain town...
