Wall E Adventure...

So my friend Sheri and I had this harebrained idea to take her kids to see Wall E at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood. Instead of driving we thought we would take the Metrolink and subway. So we hopped the Metrolink from home at 2pm. The kids were thrilled with the train... they were glued to the window for most of the trip into LA.
From Union Station we transferred to the subway which took us up to Hollywood. We saw daylight again as we advanced up the escalator and soon the busy streets of Hollywood came into view. The area was PACKED, street vendors, musicians trying to make a buck and me and Sheri tightly clutching the kids...
Luckily we only had to walk a block or so on Hollywood Blvd to get to the theater. We got some popcorn & sodas and took our seats. Before the movie was a really neat stage show featuring all the old Disney favorites: Alice, Snow white, Jasmine, Aladdin, Belle, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Buzz Lightyear and Woody and many others... it was really awesome! The kids were all smiles!

After the movie we went over to the Disney Soda fountain for dinner then headed back home.

We cut it super close, when we got off the subway we literally had to run across Union Station to make the last metrolink train back home - THANK GOD we made it...

It was an awesome day and we all had a blast.
